Although I didn't (and still have not
had) the thrill of being in a hot-air
balloon, I've seen spectacular
launches in places as far away as
Turkey (2017). It's Friday and not
letting the weather dampen or
diminish my mood. Hope will rise
and then it's up to us to ride with
it or let the string go. My hike this
morning included a stomp in the
puddles and now...? maybe
cuddles? Snuggles? Huggles?

Lemonade from lemons, puddles
from rain, a great tan from the
desert. It's always a good idea to be
a glass-half-full kinda person and
learning to walk in the sand don't
hurt either! I'm recommending
PEE-WEE'S BIG HOLIDAY and
BEAN (1997) both sure to help you
laugh and both great break-out
and get away flicks! Fridays
should be fun and sexy and make
sure you eat some chocolate. I'm
using this lockdown to focus on
revamping the site for Jan 1 and
taking an extra hike every day.
Stomping around (in the rain or
sand) is always good sublimation.

enduring isolation. Human intimacy is already

I took going through the huge
hedgemaze! It's great video that
with some editing and maybe some
acceleration is worth seeing!
Meanwhile, itching for the freedom
to actually GO to numerous places
I've visited or at least to Saint-
Gabriel-de-Valcartier Quebec where
I've slept in the HOTEL DE GLACE
as part of the holidays. If you
haven't tried it, the ice beds are
dressed in furs and -- upon special
request -- a swan-ice bed. There's
raging fireplaces in select rooms.

I'm a huge fan of THE COURTSHIP
OF EDDIE'S FATHER. There's a kind
of magic between them, the writers,
and the viewers that is difficult to
copy. I've got several best friends
with whom I've shared my entire
world. Times like these, we all need
to center, balance and focus each
other! Friends whose approach to
friendship jibes so perfectly aren't
a dime a dozen! As for SUSPENSE,
playing the OTR and having break-
fast in bed. Perfect for that 10
inches we're gunna get...if only

Who knows what gremlins get into
some people's heads. Olivia D'Abo
was easily one of the sexiest women
on the planet at her peak and --
like Karen Carpenter -- still
struggled her entire life believing
herself to be ugly, fat, unattractive.
What a tragedy! Keanu isn't any
sort of CHOSEN ONE and some of it
is cheesy and sophomoric but it's
still worth watching to drool over a
younger version of Olivia. Watching
her again in the movie "FLYING"
is such sweet sorrow. Those who've
seen it or see it will get the NIAGARA
FALLS crossover comment and maybe
appreciate my 2017 shot from the
Falls midway. Seems silly to post
FALLS video, right? So here's to
today's CANADIAN darlings who
are prepping to go south for a few
months like we all wish we could do!
We will all need time for our civility
to heal after this brush with chaos.

THE SUSPENSION IS
KILLING ME!
I've crossed 200+ suspension bridges
over the years in 2-dozen countries,
including this footage (too large to
post) shot by D. with me just ahead
of him. I'm sure you've noticed in
previous footage I get a bit hyster-
ical trying to shoot vid and deal
with heights. Whereas D. had just
finished commenting how he loved
how skittish the thing seemed.
I thought it would be cute to merge
it (BLUE MOUNTAIN 2017) with
the intro to my adorable THE
FRIENDLY GIANT I love watching
on weekends. I find it very soothing.
Calming. Reassuring. Comforting.
Whereas...crossing skywalks is
always terrifying but courage is
not the absence of fear, only the
disregard of it...so I've dared more
than my share worldwide. Every
man's home is his castle even
without a moat. I'm lowering my
drawbridge...opening the gates...

Speaking of fish people need to
stop saying TUNA FISH. For Pete's
sake we've got bluetooth and people
are still ignorant enough to say
tuna fish like they're saying
BEAGLE-DOG and FLY-INSECT.
No one says sharkfish or
WHALE-MAMMAL. But people DO say
a lot of malarkey. It's an ugly thing for a
man to waste not only his own life, but
the lives of his family, avoiding those
closest to him to chase mirages.
But still recommending BIG FISH as
a cautionary tale about not appreciating
those closest to us and -- as a globe-
trotting adventurer -- sincere advice: have
a nexxus, a home, a universal center to
which you return. The greatest adventure
possible is giving yourself to another!

From these distances, I am ever
reminded how transitory we all are.
The epic and timeless make us
nothing more than dust by compar-
ison. I'm desperately anxious to
travel again even if it's just within
Canada itself so let's hope that's
possible sooner than later.
Today is a good day to finish the
far-from-glamorous laundry and
maybe add a few words to my
'signing' vocabulary. It may be
true that an optimist can only ever
be disappointed, but a pessimist
is never happy even when it's
good news. Unlike the Quakers
and their pia desidiria, I choose to
hope high instead of chaste.

With an extremely promising vaccine now in sight
we all cross our fingers, grasp our talismans and

S A Y Y O U, S A Y M E...

I've never been to Russia myself and no real
interest...but Australia has some amazing
sights and outback beauty some of which I
wrote about in 'A SECRET CHARM'. Of
course that was years ago and I'm still digging
for the video of my 'showering' in the 6 diff
waterfalls I got video of! A looser, more
adventurous environment, many did and do
as I did and got naked to do so. It's a shame
the technology back then wasn't quite up to
current par. Yesterday I cooked 2 casseroles
and my blue-ribbon cacciatore. Mondays
are great cooking days, tuesdays good
eating days, especially when you're the
appetizer, entree and dessert!
ESCAPE TO WISH MOUNTAIN
Years ago, I didn't get to Alishan
while I was living in Taiwan! Like many
in T.O. who haven't been to Center
Island or even The C.N. Tower, most
Taiwanese haven't been outside the
cities and towns. Years later when
we returned we got to better explore
the insane beauty that lays beyond
the filth and humiliation of the
lifestyle/world they live in where so-
called 'civilization' should be.
Spent yesterday watching the original
"ESCAPE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN"
cooking for and 'cooking-up' with
a 'DayDate' along with some slow-
dancing and a nap. Found my thrill
on blueberry hill! I've seen WITCH
before but loved the nostalgic
stroll along with some "ESCAPE"
OTR we enjoyed too! Cum to me...

March, and having seen Amy
only once since my review August
15th, I decided to check out Amy's
SCARLET CARSON situation.

rare treat and I'll be doing on my
own now. It was the most perfect
date I've ever had and I'm no
spring chicken. Do this. Do yourself
a huge, huge, huge favor! A
perfect afternoon long overdue!"
