YARDGUARD
Now that the sun is shining,
it's time to break out the
OUTSIDE TV, fire pedestals
pillows, blankets and ice
and start living out in the yard
with the cabana, keeping out

spend as much time as I can
relaxing, reading, writing,
chatting, savoring life,
love, the world, beauty
and faith and hope.
Travel? Sigh...we will see...
Canada awaits! I hope to
see as much of it as possible.

I WANNA GO! GO! GO!
Stir-crazy? Cabin-fever?
If I hadn't stepped on my scooter
and got it going up to 65K/H I
would have gone all rifle-in-the
clocktower! That's right! This guy
gets up to 65 K/H and even faster
downhill! Normally I'd have been
overseas several times in the last
5 months, and home in L.A.
6-7 times and, of course...
with so much HIBERNATION it's easy for the average bear -- no matter
how much smarter she is -- to wanna get go out for a PICKANICK
basket or two (or at least get some light, air, space, a sense of escape
from cold-storage) .I miss the back of the VIRAGO now that D.'s
not driving me around and this thing is pure wind-in-the-hair!

THROWBACK THURSDAY -- ROCKED THA...
As I mentioned with all this
domestic time I'm having a very
sentimental experience watching
old TV/MOVIES and sifting
through our old personal stuff
to all the trips everywhere
including the time D. spent in
TIBET. He spent much of his
time recording and talking
to myself, Britney and others as
he journeyed...to include us.
I decided that I'd go ahead and post some of it. Those of you who
met and knew D. will recognize his voice from meeting him or other
videos in my history with his voice in it. You can find a photo of
Britney overlooking the horizon from a peak (nowhere near
the top...not even close) on "A MOMENT IS A MILE" a song he
wrote about his and their experiences visiting the temples
and I'm sure the video will be informative obviously!

crisis brings out the better (if not best) in some

It's actually MARCH 31 but the joke's not
on you! Instead, I wanted an
APRIL 1st that WASN'T ACTUALLY
April Fool's Day. I could wax on forever
philosophically, theologically, anthropo-
logically, ontologically re: the end of days
possibilities of the current virus but
anyone who knows me knows I prefer to
remain as optimistic as possible, not to
stick my head in any sand but because
waxing will not thwart the crisis. Better
the mind and spirit remain aloft in a
hurricane where the view is at least
breathtaking! Orbiting, we can see
the cosmos and everything below as
beautiful! Maybe that makes me the
fool, April or not.
Rather be a happy fool than a miserable
terrestrial. So, for my first official act
(and POST) of April, I invent a new
day of celebration similar to HELL
(or Devil's) Night. I declare March 31st
OPTIMIST DAY! -- a day to look to
the horizon and embrace hope,
