Maybe we should be taking this seriously enough to be out in

because these are the last days and there's nothing left to do
but celebrate who we are that the universe decided wasn't worth

THE LAST DINOSAUR
This entire month I mostly went with an IRISH
St. Patrick's Luck theme; but, as we all know, 2020
as a whole, thus far, has seemed more like what
we expected from 2012 when the world didn't
end at all! Silly Mayan eschatologists!

there's a fantastic twist at the end -- the final victim turns out to be a recur-
ring visitor to her stand -- The Black Dahlia killer. D. had a brilliant flare for
words and I was honored to be an apprentice of his among other things.
I'm working pretty diligently at "HURRICANE JANE" currently and I'm still
helping BRITNEY ghost-writing her sexual memoirs
"THE BLACKFEATHER BOOKS" which most of you have read several chapters
from. I'm hoping in 20 years I'll have constructed a library of novels and
maybe even at least one non-fiction.

serious culinary conquering! I am determined
to make dynamite CHILI...and then heat up
sum hearts with sum cumin (or is it cummin'?)

FLICKIN, LICKIN' & KICKIN' FRIDAY
Been awhile since I spent a Friday just watching movies,
cooking some of my HALL OF FAME cacciatore and
just kicking back or licking your snack. I'm planning on
some MS. PACMAN & maybe BOMBJACK or PENGO
on the retro tabletop version of our video-gaming
system (for those who remember those games).
I'll make some video of all of the above and post it in
the MDV. Being a chess junkie and autistic savant with
a deck of cards, D. loved "Searching For Bobby Fischer"
"The Luzhin Defence", and "Rounders".
I'm going to take a stab at CHILI today too!
The goal is to make proper CHILI (without beans)!

always, I ended up eating her

SUMMER DREAMS
It's that time of year when the
yearning for the burning sun of
summer cums back on me hard!

I find myself strolling through the
gardens of remembrance when
everything was green and full of
color and life! Two sweeties
sent me two long-awaited
items on my wish-list!

with Margot Robbie and reposted
everything I did between Jan 1
and Feb 30th with maids/hotel staff
at the hotels I use from Windsor to
Ottawa. VERY SIZZLING STUFF!

Now that I've been
on 2 official dates and the snow is
finally finding it's way...away...I'm
ready to get back to my novel
HURRICANE JANE.
I've inescapably templated D.
into Jane's character/legend.

the serial novel protagonist.

SOAPY CINEMA!
If you're wondering about my SOAPY CINEMA I'm a
huge fan of the movie CRASH from HAGGIS (also
responsible for D.'s beloved "DUE SOUTH") and even though
"THE WORLD ACCORDING TO GARP" is comical it's
also pretty heavy drama. Irving is one of my fav 5 writers!
But nothing does it like "MAGNOLIA"...similar to D.'s
writing style, ("Life Is A Lonely Business")
Anderson weaves a gripping and gorgeous tapestry
of human hope and haplessnes, tragedy and magic.
Perfection! Especially Julia! who -- by the way -- loves
the word "cocksucker" (even stated publicly once!)

A SOFT & PEACHY LEGACY
It's MARCH 1st and everything's PEACHY!
Color's such an important element of our
world & psyche and mood, isn't it?
On this Sentimental Sunday (which also
happens to be MARCH 1st and hopefully
the beginning of the end of winter...)
I'm snuggling and cuddling with D.'s SOFTEE
which he so loved and has
his scent lingering not to mention all the snuggles-of-cuddles-of-huggles he gave it
over the years. My inheritance also includes something as simple (but still adorable)
as his kitsch lunch-pail/box collection.
As well, Sentimental Sunday on KFLY RADIO means OLD TIME RADIO mysteries
and THE INK SPOTS, Nat "King" Cole and nostalgic commercials like
