Most friday mornings I dodge my
weight loss regimen for an hour of

vinyl in bed. Unlike almost everyone
from my generation I was fortunate
enough to have had people to turn
me on to laying on the floor/bed
listening to the turntable, reading
the liner notes and drinking in the
beauty of a FULL IMAGE cover &
whatever goodies come inside the
jacket. It's DEVIL'S NIGHT tonight
which means FLIX with the pitter-
patter of little feet: THE CHILDREN
(1980), CHILDREN Of The CORN
THE BROTHERS GRIMM, HANSEL &
GRETAL, GRETAL & HANSEL, my
traditional scream with KAREN
BLACK's "AMELIA" 1/3 of
"TRILOGY OF TERROR": but don't
forget PUPPETMASTER flix,
the CHILD'S PLAY franchise
(including a pretty damn good
remake in 2019) and -- because it's
DEVIL'S NIGHT -- I'll be enjoying
WE SUMMON THE DARKNESS on
NETFLIX tonight. Let's be a little

STIR OF ECHOES. I always watch the Robards/
Pryce SWTWC the day before Devil's Night. It's a
Disney joint but it's charming and it's Bradbury!
My trusty rainbow umbrella by my side and it
makes a good weapon with which to stab any
would-be vampire! I know many panned Gary's
Dracula (Oldman) but I thought he was breath-
taking as he always is! Keanu/Winona were...

later associated with who we now
call DRACULA. His alleged burial
spot is still up for debate but the

SITE CHANGES: I will be phasing out MY DAILY VIDEO (MDV) NOV 1st
I will be opting for in-blog videos as I have done mostly this month.
The MDV ARCHIVES will remain at least until JAN 1, 2021 and perhaps
beyond. However, if there's something there you like you may want to
screen-cap it while you have the opportunity. I will be creating a
secondary video-access but uncertain yet what that will be.
VIPS need not be worried as this will not affect the VIP area at all.

OMG what an AMAZING BIRTHDAY!
Thanks to Brit's planning and a
new jet that took myself and a small
group of friends, lovers etc around
the world in 3 days, my party
was airborne 95% of the time
pit-stopping for nec refuels and
assorted other boring protocols!
Everyone was tested and remained
isolated together for everyone's
safety, loosening up on tarmac
and boom! -- without setting
foot on American soil -- I'm home
again and still flying from the
Zen and Zeal of the coolest
skytime anyone ever had!
As usual VIPs can find 2.3 hours
of video highlights of raunchy
and just sweet fun! Getting life
together here and grinning like

atically vanishing from online music
stores there's been no sign of any-

represents a decade or more of my life as a singer/producer/CEO. With HALLOWEEN
masked living, it's that time of the year to watch one of my TOP 10 FLIX of all time.
I could talk for days about this movie and what it means to me. I won't bore you.
A beautiful movie for a fittingly-dark time for us all. We've destroyed all icons
and heroes and en route to polishing off the remnants. It's what lesser people
who aim low and thereby accomplish little or nothing do to level the playing field
That's twisted. We should embrace heroes and those who bleed, sweat and weep
for their excellence and evolution. They usher in a better future. Shame on us!

and watching their kids stare

Many years ago, when I decided
to simply never allow anyone to
inhibit me and my life choices,
it freed me to be as silly and
ridiculous as I want to be and
as I've gotten older I've em-
braced that philosophy far be-
yond most people's frontier.
I don't even drink, let alone
TEQUILA but PEEWEE has a
great approach to life because
he embraces his true self and
if it somehow offends someone's
sense of COOL...bah! BAH!

GRIM ACE & THE GHOULIES

Should I be embarassed to say
I own the GHOULIES and CRITTERS
box sets? They're hilarious!! CGI
really screwed everything up! I
miss the SNUGGLE bear in
commercials and the wind-up
energizer bunny you could touch.
If you're looking less for camp
and more for eerie-as-hell
JACOB TREMBLAY will get you
deeeeeply unsettled in the boonies
and BROTHERS GRIMM will get
you aghast(ly?) in the woods.
WOMAN IN BLACK is pretty damn
good and won't make you grimace
too much. BTW...I also miss the
likes of GRIMACE (McDonalds)
and other non-CGI characters.
What a shame that COVID so
closely reflects this ever-growing
distance/caution and lack of touch.

With this gorgeous baby sent by one of my
sweeties I may not need to buy fruit for a
couple weeks. As my birthday approaches this
weekend I am grateful for those who have
sent gifts — you’re a class act. Everyone else....

birthday freebie!! tsk tsk tsk! At any rate, we
are 10 days from HALLOWEEN where people who
hand out FROOT LOOT should be egged at least.

WIND IN THE WILLOWS
Do most people know that ASPIRIN
is derived from WILLOW TREES?
When our douchbag neighbor
murdered one of the oldest living
things in DURHAM they destroyed
not only something timeless and
beautiful, but all the animals
vanished! Now this gaping, daily
reminder of their idiocy is a sign
of the times and not a good one.
But I've become a cheerleader for
the trees (especially willows) and,
with Autumn winds whorling 'round,
I feel like the willows, swaying and
dancing in the rainy day grim.
I've acquired several nicknames &
pseudos over the years from friends
and for recording/writing including
"Huckleberry Funn" (or just HUCK)
Maybe Willow or Windy is next?

Most know that normally I'm part

nowadays. With COVID nec-
essitating the sort of caution
needed to thrive in the world
I'm having to simply watch the
old reruns yet again and be
passively inspired. My sky-
diving ambition in JAN is just
hovering on the roadside waiting
for circumstance to restart my
goal! They should make a
XXX-version on an adult network.
SUDDEN FEAR (1952) and CAPE
FEAR (both versions) are great
choices and ya can't beat
BATMAN BEGINS for CILLIAN's
unrivaled SCARECROW. Then
ya can do the PUMPKINHEAD
and last year's AWESOME
KNIVES OUT, READY or NOT,
and CRAWL. All 4-star flix!

THE EDGE OF DARKNESS
In some ways I wish I were old enough
to have watched and remembered the
soap opera THE EDGE OF NIGHT.
But if you haven't see THE EDGE, it's
a good 'out in the woods' flick and
it's only slightly ironic because
there's no masked psychopath
making mincemeat. THE EDGE OF
DARKNESS however treeless is a
good backup with THE NAKED EDGE
(1961). My edges are always naked!

I love rain! It's cleansing and often moves
people to wanna cuddle, get cozy and
tends to bring out in folks the more
intimate and meaningful elements of
them. I love jumping in puddles and
making rainwater fly everywhere.

FAMOUS LAST WORDS on vinyl which
is perfect on a rainy day.

can't roam through the world. I try to ROAM
...just hours exploring where there's few or
no actual people. Highly recommend it!
OF MASKS AND MYSTERY
There's certainly no shortage of masked
serial killers on rampages to choose
from for HALLOWEEN FLIX but if you're
trying to avoid "V" (Vendetta), Carrey's
"MASK" and "ZORRO" you can start
with "THE FOUR OF US ARE DYING"
(Twilight Zone 1960) and "THE STEP-
FATHER" (1987) and a slew of similar
flix where people aren't who they
appear to be. But you could revisit
PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, PHAN-
TOM Of The PARADISE (we play the
soundtrack regularly on KFLY) and
why not "DARKMAN" (1990).'

In some respects COVID has brought
so many closer together by force and
at the same time set human intimacy
and proximity back to an unprecented
degree of distance/alienation. D. got me
hooked on outdoor adventure and now
it is my solace as these days further
challenge us all. I've been posting
much of the DEER, bunnies, birds I've
encountered here and in L.A. and
elsewhere because it brings us within
tangible distance to beauty itself.
You are beautiful! Be still. Be quiet.

VICE-OLATION
Dismantling the backyard for the
oncoming winter is always sad but
the ISOLATION of COVID's enough
to keep all else in perspective.
Sentimental Saturday that it is,
here's a tiny blast from the past
when Center Island was flooded
and nothing rhymed with orange.
Someone invent a word for poets!
Meanwhile...with new restrictions
in place (long overdue) I'm taking
my measures one step tighter.
This all makes sex so much more
meaningful and timely. Let's be
cautious & carnal...and selective.

OUNCE VS POUND
With COVID exploding and new
regional restrictions in place, I'm
intensifying my precautions and
selectivity. I've stepped up my
disinfecting measures and my
personal physician is now coming
every 2 weeks instead of 4 and
I will not be seeing any new
playmates between the ages
of 20-39 without extra prep on
their part before entering my
home. Other than my NATURE
I've kept out of cities, malls,
stores, restaurants et al for 7
months without any intention of
doing otherwise until there's
a vaccine. My personal oasis is
locked down to everyone but my
circle of 6 people: and they, in turn,
keep a tight vigil around theirs
never daring to go "public".
It is sad that this needs to happen
but we must all be brave and
stalwart. I'm preserving a policy
of prevention over resolution.
Still pounding...but selectively.
New expectations on my
part include: no facial hair, no long
hair, shower monitoring, no one
still working 9-5 in a public setting.
This is for YOUR safety so please
don't be...obtuse about it.

DEEP & DARK FISH WISH
FRIDAYs were once grounds for a
Judaic/Christian religious practice
of swearing off meat. But that's not
why it's called FRYDAY. The goddess
for whom the day got its name is
the LOVE/SEX goddess. So, really,
things should be sizzling but not in
a pan anyhow. But in this house,
FRIDAY is sacred time for myself and
Regan (my wife), my two GFs, guests
(and D. when he was still with us).
Taking a break from "scary" and doing
the annual THE FISH THAT SAVED
PITTSBURGH and the new NETFLIX:
HUBIE HALLOWEEN. Here's

That's HAWT! Teddy took wolfygirl's cherry and
OMG! WEREBEAR! I have a ton of awesome
words in my scrabble tray collection including
this timely one worthy of a seasonal mention.
Both these animals make for good grist during
the HALLOWEEN spirit when seeking a great
dark/ominous forest/wood flick. The array of
other creatures and mythologies that accompany
them go as eerie as THE TALL MAN, WENDIGOs,
SASQUATCH, GNOMES, GOBLINS etc. You
don't need JASON or D.B. COOPER to jump

I LOVE BEING A RADIO DJ!
Most men are always impressed
with the stereo stack in the
playroom but I have 2 others
not as impressive including
this one in the master-bedroom.
I can lay in bed and listen to
vinyl or KFLY/KSXY in 100%
comfort. Look! My voice is
'light-dancing'. There's some-
thing very ominous about hearing
your own voice on your own
stereo...after enough time one
starts to forget...hey! That's me!
I especially love playing stuff like
"Kiss You All Over", "On & On"
"SANCTIFY YOURSELF" etc...
I'm so thankful for everyone and

SPICE-N-VICE IS NICE

The Bloom Is Off The Rose
BlumHouse started off hot and fierce,
releasing some of the scariest and most
original scary flix of our time and then...
tanked. The last few flix from them have
been missing everything that made their
first forays so impressive. Like Speilberg
losing his acumen, like XFILES went to
pot, BLUMHOUSE has lost its way.
Sad too! Orlando Bloom vanished too.
Is it the name? As most know I'm a huge
BLOOM COUNTY fan...and no...I don't
own any bloomers. Hardeeeeharhar!

Since I've already done the forest/woods theme
so much why not go all the way and make the
majority of HALLOWEEN FLIX more of the same
starting with THE GUARDIAN which I've watched
several times. If you haven't seen it...it's creepy as
hell! Follow that up with BLAIR WITCH PROJECT
and THE WITCH and you've got a great trilogy of
terror (missing Karen Black but still!) I spend so
much of my free time in nature, including the
woods/forests...in the right light or with the right
sight...these places of beauty can be very eerie!

With only the one canoe not
packed away for the winter, this
last canoe jaunt was especially
serene and important to me!
I may still head out if it's not
too cold but as a rule I wrap
my Canadian canoeing up in
October. Sailing yesterday was
chilly but I don't let weather
phase me when it comes to
winching and wandering.
The depth and shadows of the
woods are wonderful! Now
it's time for some crazy, casual
weekending. Moonbarking?

has a small but cool role before
he was a legend. Don't forget he
played ICHABOD CRANE in
SLEEPY HOLLOW (1980)! He was
born to play all 4 roles! His tv
show recently...kinda sucked.

As I did last FRIDAY night, the first playmate to

I'll be enjoying DARKNESS (2002) which is
supremely creepy as hell and AND SOON THE
DARKNESS (1970 version despite knowing Odette
and Amber) and I've posted the insane fun every
one had last year at the HALLOWEEN HAYRIDE
in VIP area for your orgasmic pleasure. My friends
and I will be finishing sailing later and having a
possible MEET-N-EAT later...keep eyes peeled!

I forgot how much I love the 1984
movie -- so deliciously creepy,
almost surreal/hypnotic! Been
a while so loved seeing it again!
Not a lot of great WOLF movies
like WOLF (Nicholson). Howling
Reborn was kinda fun but were-
wolf and related movies don't
tend to be awesome. On the
other hand DUE SOUTH is not
scary/Halloween but it's that time
of the year for me to whip out
D.'s fv TV show and begin the
scrumptious feast of watching it
from start-to-finish! This wolf
is adorable/clever/wonderful.

I've already received a dozen gifts from admirers
and ladies/gentlemen of class and sweetness for
my birthday this month. I want to thank everyone
who typically does grace me with a simple, small
token of celebration... A 'nod' if you will.
Last year I was a bit mortified how few bothered
even as I give gifts and birthday discounts for
those with such class. Hoping this year will be an
improvement. I posted these flowers/bear/card
because this particular sweetie isn't even a
standing play-mate anymore...and even he
has such class! People have both shadow
and light in us...Bring your brightest bulb
...even if we don't use it!
