the stars and thrive despite being
horrible human beings? (Sigh)
You can't bluff 'god' or caprice, you
can't buy the pot, you can't take
it with you. That leaves us with the
only play that's in our control...
...AND GETTING BACK UP!
With lockdown lifting, we have to wonder if this is the wise choice. Are we just
unleashing yet another wave? We're all pent-up and stressed, certainly
restless and many very lonely people who aren't as fortunate to have family
or others at home to keep them sane. What we DO NEED NOW is everyone
to PLAY NICE! Let's leave LUCK to the charmed and, instead, play face-up
and co-operate...graciously! I'm still not very good with this 70s fad of
knocking hockey/baseball cards down as kids competed for winning them
but I'm improving! Now...let's knock out those blues...(blue balls that is)

When you're married to not one
but two people with BI-POLAR
issues, you learn how to deal
and roll with the extremes.
I bought this coat at TARGET
when it was still floundering here
in Canada and paid a premium
for the detachable hood, the
extra fleece zip-in and it's kept
me warm in several countries
including the autumn days in

We get little snow anymore, but
I LOVE to imagine -- as I roam

Obviously one could go one for days on the subject but our palates push
pleasure to the limits with CHOCOLATE and cherries, candy and corn-roasts;
and cooking has become a culinary hobby for many. I've learned so much
about cooking and pride myself on the best SOUPS, ENCHILADAS, POT PIES
and SICILIAN CACCIATORE you've ever had. BLUE RIBBON calibre. Of
course, the cost is a tummy that's not always so happy or sexy: if you ask
MARLON BRANDO, VAL KILMER and STEVEN SEGAL they may claim
it was worth every pound. Either way, FOOD is now a full-figured LUST.
I, for one, love actresses pre-1980 all the way back to the 40s when a woman
didn't have to be skinny and, dare I say, men thought were hotter with the
'full-figured' look: GRABLE, PAGE, MANSFIELD, MONROE...gorgeous!!
I've lost so much weight (and will some more) but I refuse to be a waif!

It took me years to get around to riding a bike and I had to start off with training
wheels, even though I was a fully-grown adult. Embarrassing! Even though
I was able (and am able) to ride now, I'm still tentative about it so I do tend to walk
my bike as much as half the time. I do the same thing with my scooter even though
it goes 60km/hr and requires no peddling! When you're in various areas of Europe
there's no shortage of places to rent bikes and scooters for next to nothing.
NORTH AMERICA has lost its love for bikes and continues to congest the sky with
pollution caused by UNI-COMMUTING. Look around next time you're on the
freeway -- every vehicle has ONE PERSON IN IT! Thousands of cars all
heading to the same downtown core and every vehicle has ONE PERSON IN IT.
Terrible! My parents desperately wanted me to be as white and Canadian from birth
as possible! They insisted that their legacy rid me of any and all things from their
country and that my Canadian birthrite be like my skin were white. You'd have
thought they WANTED to teach me to ride a bike and swim.
Problem was -- they didn't know either!

With the exception of my first
boyfriend (whom I broke up

Then there is of course the CAR...and that STICKSHIFT which I still haven't mastered
in sports cars (Brit has a Porsche, Lambo & Ferrari) but can certainly see the
attraction as it makes you feel much more like you're the one driving, not being
